Explore London is provided by AllBlackTaxis. This policy explains what information is used when you browse the website, install the PWA, or use the Android or iOS app.

Information We Use

• Location permission: if you allow location access, the app uses your device location to show the blue position dot, follow your movement, and help you explore nearby places. You can use the app without allowing location access.
• Map and place activity: the app may remember local settings such as selected filters, tour progress, cached map files, or recently viewed app state so the experience feels consistent.
• Contact and booking details: if you contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, your message and contact details are handled through those services so we can reply.
• Admin and editing activity: authorised admins can add, edit, or delete place records. Those changes may include place names, notes, coordinates, categories, and timestamps.
• Technical data: our hosting, CDN, and security systems may process IP address, browser type, device type, request time, error logs, and similar technical information.

Location Tracking

Explore London only uses precise location when you choose to grant location permission in your browser or device settings. The ordinary map location feature is used to display your position and movement on your own device. We do not sell location data, and we do not intentionally store your live location history on our servers for normal map use.

Cookies, Local Storage, and Offline Files

The website, PWA, and apps use necessary cookies, local storage, service worker cache, and app storage to keep the service working. This can include offline map assets, icons, app settings, security/session data for admins, and tour or filter preferences. You can clear this data in your browser or device settings.

• To run the map, filters, category pages, app tour, and taxi contact features.

We use service providers for hosting, map tile delivery, app distribution, device location permission, email, phone, WhatsApp links, and security. These providers may process technical data needed to deliver their services. If you use WhatsApp, email, or phone links, those services handle your message under their own privacy terms.

Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only with service providers that help operate the app, when required by law, or when needed to protect the service, users, or AllBlackTaxis.

How Long We Keep Information

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and manage the enquiry. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. Admin place records are kept while they are useful for the service. Data stored on your device stays there until it is replaced, cleared, or the app is removed.

Your Choices

• You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in browser or device settings.
• You can clear website/PWA storage in your browser settings.
• You can remove app storage by uninstalling the app or clearing its data.
